Requirements

Proven experience in cake decorating, preferably in a bakery or pastry shop
Strong artistic skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of various decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and airbrushing
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of baking and pastry preparation is a plus

Responsibilities

Decorate cakes and pastries according to customer specifications and company standards
Prepare and assemble cakes, including layering, filling, and icing
Create custom designs, including intricate piping and themed decorations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating area and tools
Ensure all baked goods meet quality and presentation standards
Collaborate with customers and team members to understand design requirements
Manage inventory of decorating supplies and order materials as needed
