Our bakery plays a pivotal role in crafting unforgettable experiences for guests' events and everyday moments alike, ranging from special occasions to everyday indulgences. Providing excellent guest service is at the heart of what we do. Whether it’s a friendly greeting, answering questions or addressing guest concerns, you’ll handle each interaction with professionalism and care. External Job Description What You’ll Do: As a Cake Decorator at Festival Foods, you will: Decorate Bakery Items: Top, finish, and decorate a variety of bakery products, including bars, pies, cookies, doughnuts, cupcakes, and cakes. Enhance Visual Appeal: Boost sales by creating visually appealing and unique bakery items that exceed our guests' expectations. Customer Service: Provide excellent service by assisting guests with their bakery needs, taking special orders, and bringing their cake design visions to life. Stock and Maintain Displays: Keep bakery displays fresh and appealing by rotating products and ensuring adequate stock levels. Quality and Freshness: Maintain high-quality standards by ensuring products are fresh and removing any items that do not meet our standards. Collaborate: Work closely with the Cake Decorator II and other bakery associates to achieve department goals and maintain cleanliness and organization. Food Safety: Keep food safety logs up to date and adhere to all food safety guidelines. Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences Support the Team: Other duties as assigned
