About The Position

The Cake Decorator at Redner's Warehouse Market is responsible for decorating all ordered cakes and ensuring the bakery department operates smoothly. This role involves maintaining product freshness, providing excellent customer service, and adhering to company policies.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills for customer service.
• Dexterity in hands for wrapping and packaging products.
• Ability to read and write for proper tagging and pricing of products.
• Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Decorate all ordered cakes.
• Maintain presentable and adequately filled shelves.
• Control freshness by coding all products and pulling out-of-code merchandise daily.
• Wrap, package, and price all products accurately and legibly.
• Maintain the regular cleaning and sanitation program established by company policies.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service to maintain good customer relations.
• Greet all customers and be observant of surroundings.
• Answer phones and take special orders as needed.
• Assist in baking of products.
