Requirements

Responsibilities

• Complete a variety of specialty cake and cupcake orders involving detailed buttercream work including drawings, flowers, and piping.
• Work with a variety of different icings, including buttercream, cream cheese icing, chocolate icing, mousse, and whipped cream.
• Create specialty cakes using fondant.
• Maintain a full and beautiful cake case daily.
• Keep a clean and organized workspace.
• Mix buttercream colors for daily use and special orders.
• Turn out orders of petit fours, fruit tarts, and other pastry items.
• Consult customers to discuss desired cake designs.
• Work under pressure during high volume holiday times.
