About The Position

The Cake Cone Production Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of machinery and equipment in the production facility. The role involved performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, implementing repairs to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. The technician will work closely with the production team to support ongoing operations and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Must have demonstrated a good work record and attendance
• Must have sufficient hand tools required to perform duties of the Production Maintenance Technician
• A minimum of three years of experience in a related field or comparable education
• Previous manufacturing system maintenance experience

Nice To Haves

• Welding experience a plus
• PLC experience a plus
• Electrical experience a plus
• Computer experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Support, installation, rebuild and maintenance of all production equipment such as baking ovens, conveyor systems, and a variety of packaging and support equipment.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements for efficiency, capability, and yield
• Performs mechanical skills, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machinery
• Perform routine preventative maintenance per a set schedule as well as respond to unscheduled repairs in a safe and timely manner.
• Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor
