About The Position

Under the supervision of a QMP, utilizes the nursing process to provide quality patient care. Practices in accordance with the New York State Practice Act, nursing department standards and hospital policy and procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current New York State license as a Practical Nurse, or eligibility for licensure in the state of New York.
• Minimum of one year experience in medical-surgical or clinical setting preferred.
• Ability to care for patients in all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care under the supervision of a QMP.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient care.
• Practice in accordance with the New York State Practice Act.
