Responsible for assisting the Cage & Club manager in ensuring that all accounting activities in the Cage & Club Department are performed accurately and efficiently, in accordance with all Casino Policy, Procedures and applicable Tribal, State and Federal regulations pertaining to cash transactions and cage functions throughout the property. Responsible for supervising all Cage & Club functions on assigned shift. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties include, but are not limited to: Access funds and ensures prompt distribution to appropriate areas of property. Assists Cage and Club Manager with the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, which enable the Cage & Club Department to function more effectively. Maintains adequate staffing levels in the Cage & Club Department, by training, scheduling, evaluating, assisting with career development, disciplining employees, as needed. Ensures the integrity of all financial and customer data produced by employees under his/her span of control. Monitors all financial and data activities on property, which relate to Cage& Club, to ensure that all Casino Policy, Procedures and applicable Tribal, State and Federal regulations pertaining to cash transactions and cage functions are enforced throughout the property.. Assists with the coordination of audits relating to bank boards, guest deposits and rotation logs. Assists the Cage & Club employees in understanding the complexities of certain responsibilities within the department. Ensures a maximum level of property-wide service and satisfaction, with respect to the Cage & Club Department, is achieved and maintained. Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property, by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled meetings with all employees under his/her span of control. Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports. Performs other duties as assigned.
