As Team Members of the Cage team, Cage Shift Managers are CRCR Ambassador and take personal ownership to ensure all their actions are in the best interest of the business. Cage Shift Managers are responsible for overseeing the activity of the Casino Cage and Drop/Count operations while protecting the Casino's assets.

  • Provide exceptional Guest service while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Support and motivate Team Members while ensuring team responsibilities are performed according to established departmental standards.
  • Manage daily area operations by overseeing a team, coordinating activities, and ensuring a positive experience for our Guests.
  • Responsible for physical control of all funds in the Cage/Vault which includes assessing coin and currency levels to maintain optimum levels for operations.
  • Safeguard Casino assets through development of sound policies and procedures that will increase profitability and lower discrepancies.
  • Advise senior management of major cage exceptions.
  • Conduct departmental investigations for variances, initiates surveillance requests as necessary.
  • Develop and conduct ongoing Title 31 training in all applicable areas and ensure compliance by all Team Members.
  • Oversee complete operations of the Cage in the Managers absence.
  • Monitor all Cage operational areas for efficiency and effectiveness and make recommendations for automation, as necessary.
  • Ensure Cage Team Members have updated knowledge of casino promotions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Lead and manage Team Members and processes while overseeing and directing daily department operations.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on departmental processes and procedures while responsible for all department compliance.
  • Lead coaching, corrective counseling, and performance evaluations for Shift Supervisors, Leads, and Team Members.
  • Lead, maintain and foster timely communication, teamwork, and collaboration within their scope of responsibility.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate Shift Supervisors, Leads, and Team Members effectively regulating department headcounts and turnover rates.
  • Aid in drafting, creating and updating policies and procedures under the guidance of Leadership.
  • Assist in budget creation, meeting revenue targets, managing expenses effectively, and ensuring adherence to annual budgetary limitations.
  • Oversee and lead employment terminations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
  • 2+ years in a Casino banking Supervisory or management role.
  • Knowledge of Title 31 and Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Must be able to work independently and maintain a high level of performance.
  • Must be able to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining business standards.
  • Demonstrate a flock mentality, focused on teamwork and collaboration with others.
  • Provide exceptional service to internal and external Guests while leveraging the knowledge of the position and the business, ensuring a clucktastic experience for all.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or 3+ years of experience in a related field.
  • 3+ years in a Casino banking Supervisory or management role.
  • Additional industry certifications or degrees.
