About The Position

Accurately processes transactions for internal and external guests while maintaining a positive demeanor and pleasant attitude throughout each transaction. Responsible for safeguarding company assets and adhering to all Cage policies and procedures. Essential Functions: Ensure compliance with the applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures. Ensure the highest possible standards of guest services by properly listening and responding to guest and team member concerns and questions. Listen and respond to guest and team member concerns and questions. Count main bank funds and process transactions accurately while maintaining minimal variances. Responsible for transactions within the casino: preparation of Cage cashier banks, process and verify exchanges with Cage cashiers, receive and verify Cage cashier banks; receive, verify and document daily drops from count team. Prepare daily deposits of cash, checks and foreign currency and receive cash deliveries from bank. Responsible for maintaining adequate ATM/kiosk cassette inventory; maintain and monitor ATM/kiosk currency levels; drop, count, verify and record funds from ATM/kiosk machines. Responsible for maintaining and monitoring recycler currency levels; dropping, counting, verifying and recording funds from recycler machines. Must have intermediate knowledge of the use of standard office equipment; including a 10-key calculator and Microsoft Office programs. Must be able to efficiently navigate various computer application programs. Organize supplies, clean counters/floors and maintain working areas clean at all times. Perform duties of a Cage Cashier to meet the demands of business needs. Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills. Manage and maintain security of confidential information entrusted to position. Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned. Monitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements, Title 31 requirements and IRS Currency Transaction Reports and property established Anti-Money Laundering policies. Maintain accurate MTL, MIL, CTR and SAR as needed. Requirements

Must have High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum six (6) months of cashier experience or minimum six (6) months of bank vault teller experience, or equivalent cashier/teller combined experience.
Cash handling experience with large volumes of cash preferred.
Strong communication skills in English both written and oral.
Must be able to obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including successful completion of background check necessary to obtain and maintain license.
Responsible to keep all documents current and valid at all times.
Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have access to reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
Must comply with KLEC handbook, internal policy and procedures, and gaming regulations set within KLEC.
Must participate in tip reporting program.

Nice To Haves

Gaming industry experience preferred.
Spanish or other language skills a plus.
