You're the one keeping the wheels turning behind the scenes by balancing the vault, overseeing shift paperwork, and ensuring every transaction adds up perfectly. As the go-to for Cage Cashiers and casino team members, you bring both accuracy and approachability to the role. You maintain order, safeguard assets, and help ensure every win, payout, and exchange happens smoothly and securely all while keeping that welcoming resort spirit alive. What you bring to the table Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee. Assist Cage Cashiers and casino employees with cashier functions, including paying slot tickets, exchanging currency denominations, and completing Table Games fills and credits. Oversee and maintain responsibility for the Vault, ensuring all assets are handled with accuracy and integrity. Create and issue Imprest Banks for casino departments, maintaining precise tracking and accountability. Prepare all assigned documentation promptly, accurately, and in compliance with internal controls. Resolve issues with sound judgment, exercise discretion, and refer matters to the Cage Shift Supervisor when appropriate. Foster strong working relationships with team members, supporting a culture of trust, teamwork, and positivity. Ensure compliance with all internal controls, company policies, and reporting requirements. Maintain a professional, guest-focused presence that reflects the resort's commitment to excellence, accuracy, and hospitality. Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned) Physical stuff to know We've included the typical physical parts of the job here. During your shift, you'll stand for extended periods, and frequently walk, and use your hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Occasionally sit. Must be able to bend, twist, and kneel. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. It's important to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure, especially when dealing with stressful situations or upset people. Requirements

  • Friendly and approachable attitude that helps guests (and the team) feel welcome and cared for every day.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year cage, banking, or other acceptable cash handling experience, ability to keep paperwork "in balance".
  • Proficient ability to operate 10-key adding machine/calculator with high degree of accuracy.
  • General working knowledge of cage and casino operations.
  • Team oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct cage operations in accordance with prescribed standards.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates.
  • Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free workplace policies.
