About The Position

The CAGE CASHIER assists guests with various types of financial transactions such as cash-outs, check cashing, and credit card cash advances by accurately conducting cash, coin, and ticket transactions as well as redemption for gaming customers. In this role you will also prepare applicable paperwork and comply with cash reporting requirements, assist guests in completing check cashing applications, communicate instructions clearly to explain the enrollment processes and use of credit card and check cashing equipment. Satisfies all ID verification requirements, and follows self-exclusion procedures and records all transactions with utmost accuracy and completes all related documentation in accordance with applicable internal policies and controls as well as state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Cashiering experience preferred.
• Excellent math and organizational skills required.
• Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming Permit.
• Must be physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Must have a positive attitude and excellent guest service skills.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be 21 years of age.
