Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

  • Cash customer checks and establish information accounts for guests to speed up further check cashing.
  • Sell and redeem slot machine tokens.
  • Cash and sell chips. Redeem players' winnings for cash.
  • Answer patron questions and provide solutions with a professional demeanor.
  • Provide professional representation at internal and external meetings and events.
  • Process credit/debit card cash advance checks.
  • Balance cash drawers and ensure that the drawers are at appropriate impressed amounts at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Perform buys with the main bank to keep the drawer stocked throughout the current shift and for the next shift.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork; balance sheets, buy sheets, multiple logs, CTR.
  • Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
  • Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies.
  • Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Complete any reasonable request made by your supervisor or any management personnel.
