About The Position
Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Cage Cashier to join our team at Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire. As Cage Cashier, you will handle a large amount of currency, cash checks, and redeem tickets, vouchers, and chips for guests. Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Six months' cash handling experience preferred; experience handling large amounts of money
- Excellent math skills including addition and subtraction
- No high school diploma or GED required
Responsibilities
- Handle large sums of money including validating tickets for guests, distributing cash to team members for jackpots and hand-pays, processing and verifying travelers' checks, approving and cashing checks, and cash advance services
- Maintain an accurate count of banks
- Perform regular cash buys to Cage Supervisor
- Issue and redeem chips; process chip fills and credits
- Follow all departmental and state policies and procedures
