Cage Cashier
About The Position
We are seeking a Cage Cashier to join our professional casino team. The position offers the following responsibilities: Process and manage monetary transactions while ensuring exceptional guest service from the window bank position Handle guest and company funds in accordance with gaming regulations and company procedures Process gaming chips, tickets, and check transactions while managing markers and fills with accuracy Maintain accurate bank balance and safeguard casino cage assets during assigned shift Process guest credit applications and maintain customer credit files Manage window markers and safety deposit boxes for guest accounts Input markers, fill and credit slips into the computer system with precision Provide detailed information to guests regarding casino promotions and services Maintain a professional appearance and ensure work station is properly stocked and organized Perform duties while standing for extended periods during shift Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management as needed.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Previous cashiering or cash handling experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic mathematical calculations and currency handling
- Technical competency with calculators, computers, and currency counting equipment
- Physical capability to perform essential functions including standing, bending, pushing, and lifting up to 26 pounds
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English
- Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming-related certifications and licenses as mandated by local regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
- Professional demeanor and appearance
