About The Position

Under the direction of the Cage/Vault Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for controlling and accounting of transactions for the cage window, main bank, chip bank, and check bank.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
One (1) year of cash handling experience is required.
Ability to obtain a gaming license.
Must have solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal communication skills are required.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment.
Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationships with all individuals.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work occasional overtime and irregular hours.

Nice To Haves

Six (6) months of casino cage cashier experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) Rules and Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Company and departmental policies and procedures.
Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of this ICS.
Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow team members.
Responsible for the impress bank issued.
Perform guest and in-house monetary transactions.
Balance and issue impress bank to Floor Attendants, Food and Beverage and Hotel team members.
Enter patron transactions into the company computer system accurately.
Prepare paperwork, balance sheets and documents in accordance with our Standards and Procedures and within the guidelines of Internal Controls.
Transfer cash, chips, and checks between cages and/or departments in an accurate and efficient manner.
Strictly adhere to department policies and procedures in order to maintain integrity of the Cage operation.
Comply with Federal Title 31 procedures.
Stay abreast of current trends and practices within area of responsibility and communicate pertinent information to management, peers, direct reports, and team members as appropriate.
Promote positive public/team member relations at all times.
Perform any duties on or off-site involving guest services and quality control including, but not limited to, special events, guest giveaways, crowd control, property cleanliness, and other hospitality functions as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Safeguard the confidential information of all team members, department, and company records.
Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
