About The Position

Handles all customer transactions during an assigned shift.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have previous cash handling experience.
  • Must successful complete a Cage Aptitude test.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
  • Must be able to work directly and interact with the general public.
  • Must possess good money handling skills and basic math skills.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to handle busy and stressful situations.
  • Must be flexible with work shifts and days off.
  • Must be able to meet all non-supervisory training and education requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all activities are in accordance with approved policies and procedures
  • Ensures that all IRS Currency Transaction Reporting (Title 31) procedures are followed.
  • Physical verification and balancing of impressed bank.
  • Notifies Surveillance of any transaction of $2000 or more.
  • Notifies the Pit Floor Person of any chip transaction of $2000 or more.
  • Provides correct change to guests.
  • Exchange chips for currency.
  • Processes checks and cash advance transactions for guests.
  • Cashes in ticket vouchers for guests.
  • Operates jet sorter and jet scan.
  • Operate calculators quickly and accurately.
  • Distinguishes value of all chips.
  • Communicates and networks effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.
  • Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners.
  • Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
  • Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.
  • Work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.
  • Report to work on time and as required in professional attire, display a high level of personal cleanliness and follow personal appearance standards.
  • May verify transactions of $500 or more.
  • Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
