About The Position

Under the direction of the cafeteria manager, the cafeteria worker provides attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and friendliness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of meals.
• Assists in the serving of meals.
• Assists in the cleaning and after-meal preparations.
• Works together to ensure a good relationship with all fellow employees.
• Assists in food service operations when and where needed, including, but not limited to banquets, special events and emergencies.
• Assist in the disposal and storage of food.
• Responds to after-hour emergencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
