Requirements
- Lift and carry 50lbs+ on a repetitive basis, with the ability to reach, bend, and stoop frequently.
- Consent to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Follow workplace safety policies and guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment with grill/line cook experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate a cash register to check out customers.
- Prepare ingredients needed for daily menu items, including washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring.
- Taking order and serving food items to customers.
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure all duties are completed.
- Maintain high standards of food quality by inspecting ingredients for freshness and proper storage per Five Star's quality standards.
- Assist with incoming deliveries and help to put items away as needed.
- Adhere to proper food safety and sanitation procedures, including cleaning and sanitizing workstations, equipment, and utensils.
