This is a pool position. Applying to this position gives Catawba County Schools the ability to view your portfolio. The Cafeteria Substitute position is an as needed position and pays $15/hour. A cafeteria substitute fills in for cafeteria staff when they are absent from work. In this position the cafeteria substitute can choose what schools they would like to sub at and they can choose what days they would like to work. The times working will vary depending on who the cafeteria substitute will be subbing for. The School Nutrition Supervisor contacts the cafeteria substitutes on availability and times which then gives the cafeteria substitute the ability to respond with accepting or declining the job that day.
