ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assist in the preparation of student and staff lunches. Operate computerized point of sale. Assist in clean up of kitchen, dishwashing room, and dining room. Utilize at all times exemplary practices in sanitation and personal cleanliness. FUNCTIONS TO BE PERFORMED AS NEEDED: Receive payment from students and staff for lunches. Take reading from cash register. Verify number and type of meals sold against cash received and free and reduced lunch list. Count and wrap money, record lunch count, a la crate, beverage, and free and reduced lunches. Separate working funds for next day. Perform such other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s). QUALIFICATIONS Food handler certificate. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Constant bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling. Constantly alternating between sitting and standing. Normally does not work at heights above ten feet. Normally does not lift any object weighing more than fifty pounds.
