A caregiver in this position works evenings from 11:00AM – 7:30PM, with rotating weekend and holiday requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of simple mathematics
• Demonstrated interest, aptitude and ability to perform routine repetitive tasks on a continuous basis
• Good numeric aptitude
• Qualifications and ability to perform Food Service Aide duties
• Ability to operate and provide change from a cash register

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register ensuring accuracy in cash collection and charges for non-paid meals.
• Check menus, portions and prices of food items to be sold.
• Ensure a smooth quick customer flow, project a positive image and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Report any cash discrepancies, theft or customer fraud to an immediate supervisor.
• Report any failure or malfunction of equipment or utility (i.e., gas, electrical, water or steam) to a supervisor immediately.
• Perform other similar or lesser skills as assigned by a member of the management or supervisory staff.
• Complete related job tasks in a timely manner as outlined in the job outline developed for cashier position.
• Adhere to cash handling procedures and guidelines listed in cashier policy.
