Provide meals to property associates in a quick and friendly manner.
Requirements
Must be able to speak and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Requires good communication skills.
Must possess basic computational ability.
Working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards.
Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
All associates must maintain a neat, clean and well groomed appearance (specific standards available).
Upon employment all associates are required to comply with the standards, rules and regulations which may be established by the Company and updated from time to time.
Associates who violate property rules or have irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules, weekends, holidays and overtime to reflect the business needs of the property.
Associates may also be required to attend group and/or department meetings in addition to the work shift as necessary.
This is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
Responsibilities
Prepare food items for associates using a predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner.
Serve selected food items to associates.
Clean all shelves and refrigerators and set up for next shift.
Practice sanitation and safety daily to ensure total employee satisfaction.
Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard property cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health standards.
Perform other duties as requested including cross training in other culinary related areas.
