Role Overview: Provide quality food service to patients, staff, and visitors in our Main Cafeteria with a focus on customer satisfaction. Set up, maintain, and break down workstations, including equipment, serving ware, utensils, supplies, and food items to ensure smooth meal service. Prepare or serve food and beverages to patrons, process transactions using a cash register, and maintain a clean, sanitary environment. Utilize grill and short-order cooking skills to create quick, delicious meals.

Requirements

  • Strong commitment to productivity and delivering high standards of customer service.
  • Motivated, action-oriented, and ready to take on new challenges with energy and passion.
  • Adaptable and able to respond effectively to the varying demands of a dynamic environment.
  • Skilled decision-maker with a track record of timely, proactive choices that benefit the team and customers.
  • Organized and capable of prioritizing work to align with organizational goals.
  • Proficient in basic math functions for handling transactions.
  • Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift, carry, and push equipment up to 30 lbs.
  • Previous experience in food service, customer service, or cash handling required.
  • At least one year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.

Nice To Haves

  • A Food Handler’s Certificate is a plus.
