About The Position

The Cafeteria Aide plays an essential role in ensuring students have a safe, efficient, and positive dining experience. This position supports daily meal service, including breakfast and lunch, while maintaining a clean and organized cafeteria environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in food service, schools, or customer service
• Experience working with children
• Serv-Safe Certificate

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch to students
• Operate checkout system and accurately track student meals
• Ensure all students are served in a timely and respectful manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of: Serving areas Cafeteria space Food preparation areas
• Assist with setup and breakdown of meal service
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Support supervision of students during meal times as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned to support cafeteria operations
