About The Position

Perform a variety of customer service, food preparation, and cleaning duties in a team environment. Ensure that high quality and great value food and drink are prepared and served to café customers from a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Minimum completion of middle school education.
• No experience required.
• Able to handle customer interactions professionally
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
• All certifications, licenses, and registrations must be valid and unexpired.
• Maintain or ability to acquire ServSafe Food Handler certification.
• Please only apply if you are a current CCSD Student.

Responsibilities

• Run the POS system (cash register) along with cash handling.
• Provide a positive customer service experience for all guests.
• Follow proper food handling and food safety procedures.
• Keep the café clean and organized during and after service times.
• Communicate as a team member with other student café workers and direct café supervisor.
• Demonstrate professionalism including proper uniform, communication (language), and reliability.
• Keep proper food inventory and re-stock grab & go, reach in cooler, etc.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
