About The Position

Restaurant Associates is seeking an energetic and passionate Café Manager to lead daily operations at the Butterbeer™ Bar inside the Harry Potter™ Shop Chicago. This unique destination brings the Wizarding World to life through immersive retail and dining experiences, where guests can enjoy the iconic taste of Butterbeer and a menu inspired by the stories they love.

Requirements

• 3+ years of café, quick-service, or restaurant management experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage both team members and guests.
• Proven ability to manage labor, food, and beverage costs effectively.
• Enthusiasm for pop culture, themed experiences, or immersive hospitality concepts.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations, ensuring a warm and engaging guest experience that reflects the spirit of the Wizarding World.
• Lead, train, and inspire a team of baristas and service staff to deliver exceptional hospitality and efficient service.
• Manage ordering, inventory, and cost controls to achieve financial targets.
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Partner with culinary and retail teams to coordinate menu offerings, special events, and promotional activations.
• Handle scheduling, payroll, and daily reporting to support smooth and consistent operations.
