About The Position

The Kitchen Worker performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties in the kitchen area. This includes sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and deep cleaning all kitchen areas and industrial equipment such as hoods, grills, stoves, countertops, drains, and floors. The role also involves emptying trash and ensuring that all food and beverage equipment is clean and ready for use.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a S. Nevada Health District Health Card.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work within time guidelines.
• Ability to move from one project to the next in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork and customer service oriented.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, organizing, and maintaining of all food and beverage equipment, service areas, tableware, pots/pans, and storage areas.
• Work directly with Steward and Exec. Steward to accomplish daily workload goals.
• Sweep and mop floors, clean floor mats and drains.
• Empty all trash.
• Clean and transport Food and Beverage equipment to requested locations.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
