About The Position

The Cafe Food Server at Aquarius in Laughlin, NV is responsible for placing food and beverage orders, delivering items to tables, and ensuring guests enjoy their visit to the coffee shop. This role involves taking accurate orders, serving food and beverages according to venue specifications, and engaging with guests in a professional and courteous manner. The server must maintain knowledge of all menu options, answer guests' questions, and ensure that food is served within health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Additionally, the server will communicate regularly with oncoming shift staff and the chef on duty, attend required training classes, and perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Six months of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in a high volume restaurant preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company.
• Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Takes accurate food and beverage orders.
• Retrieves and serves food and beverage orders to guest tables.
• Engages with guests in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Completes side work as required.
• Maintains knowledge of all restaurant menu options.
• Answers guests' questions about the menu.
• Delivers food to guests, ensuring the proper order is received.
• Refills beverages as needed.
• Communicates regularly with oncoming shift staff and the chef on duty.
• Ensures all food is served within health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Attends training classes required by management.
• Provides outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests.
