About The Position

The Cafe Food Server at Aquarius in Laughlin, NV is responsible for placing food and beverage orders, delivering items to tables, and ensuring guests enjoy their visit to the coffee shop. This role involves engaging with guests in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner while completing side work as needed.

Requirements

• Six months of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in a high volume restaurant preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company.
• Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Takes accurate food and beverage orders and serves them to guest tables according to venue specifications.
• Engages with guests in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Maintains knowledge of all restaurant menu options and answers guests' questions about the menu.
• Delivers food to guests, ensuring that the proper order was received and that beverages are refilled.
• Communicates regularly with on-coming shift staff and the chef on duty to address issues and concerns.
• Ensures that all food is served within health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Attends training classes required by management.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by management.
• Provides outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests.
