Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages in accordance with GIGI Café’s recipes and brand standards. Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to all guests, creating a welcoming and positive café experience. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly operated and maintained. Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and restocking supplies. Support team members by collaborating and communicating effectively to ensure smooth café operations during all shifts. Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, escalating any concerns to the Restaurant Manager as needed. Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and food hygiene standards and policies. Participate actively in training sessions and skill development initiatives to enhance product knowledge and service quality. Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and reporting shortages to management. Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and fostering open communication. Complete all required daily reports and checklists accurately and on time. Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or supervisor to support the success of the café. We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service. We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to, on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.
