About The Position

Nu3s is launching this November—and we’re hiring a skilled, service-driven Cafe Barista Lead to help build our Market Café from the ground up! This is a startup leadership role with part-time training in February, transitioning to full-time prior to the launch. You’ll be instrumental in preparing the café, training staff, organizing inventory, and setting the tone for exceptional guest experiences. From crafting lattes and smoothies to mentoring the team, you’ll help shape daily operations and elevate service standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years in a café or food service leadership role
• Strong knowledge of espresso, blended drinks, and food prep
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Flexible schedule (early mornings, afternoon, weekends, holidays)
• Passion for hospitality and team development

Responsibilities

• Lead and train baristas in beverage prep and guest service
• Support scheduling, inventory, and café organization
• Prepare espresso drinks, teas, shakes, and food items
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and food quality standards
• Resolve guest concerns and drive team engagement
• Monitor café performance and assist with reporting
• Cross-train and support other roles as needed
