About The Position
The Springs Resort is seeking a dedicated Cafe Attendant to provide friendly service and ensure the cafe runs smoothly. This role involves preparing light meals, serving beverages, and creating a welcoming environment for guests. This is a non-exempt role.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a cafe or food service setting preferred.
- Strong customer service and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques.
- Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic cash handling and point-of-sale system proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with orders and inquiries.
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and light food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Restock supplies and inventory as needed.
- Monitor food and beverage quality to meet guest expectations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Provide recommendations to guests for menu items.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
