About The Position
Join our team as a Café Attendant ! In this role, you’ll prepare fresh meals, take customer orders, keep the café clean, and ensure residents and staff enjoy a smooth, welcoming experience. Team members are also eligible to apply for scholarship opportunities to support their education and career goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (1 year of related experience preferred)
- Current Serve Safe Certification (required)
- Strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and a team-player attitude
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable standing for the entire shift
- Available for weekends, evenings, or holidays as needed
Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches, breakfast/lunch specials, and side dishes
- Slice meats, cheeses, and vegetables as needed
- Greet customers, take orders, operate the cash register, and process payments
- Keep the café tidy: wipe tables, wash dishes, sweep/mop, take out trash
- Stock and organize supplies in café and store areas
- Assist with café opening, closing, and daily reports
