The Cafe Attendant serves residents, guests, and staff in the Cafe in an efficient and organized manner, assisting in food preparation and maintaining a sanitary work and service area.

Requirements

high school diploma or GED
one - three months of related experience and/or training

Responsibilities

Assuring prompt service to all Kendal residents according to their individual needs.
Demonstrating knowledge of the menu, including daily specials.
Understanding the grocery program and items available for special orders, and having the ability to relay these options to residents and staff.
Receiving orders for box lunches and grocery orders
Maintaining service efficiency by performing pre- and post-meal side work as required.
Alerting management to any problems or concerns that arise.
Assuring sanitation of the Cafe by thoroughly cleaning all work areas before, during, and after service.
