About The Position
The Event Coordinator for the Red Room at Café 939 is a job for students interested in learning the inner-workings of a commercial 200 capacity all-ages venue on the campus of Berklee College of Music. Event Coordinators will work alongside industry professionals developing skills in talent buying, researching music and trends, venue management and presenting artists for both ticketed and non-ticketed shows. The Red Room is an entrepreneurial environment that requires a student to have a working knowledge of the music industry and to be able to carry out duties in a timely and efficient manner. The job requires daytime office hours and night commitments. This job requires federal work-study eligibility and U.S. domestic status.
