About The Position

The Café Deli Service Team Member is responsible for an array of tasks to include, first and foremost, providing outstanding “extra mile” service to our guests. Along with the ability to run a register and ensure a sparkling clean café area, the ideal candidate would have a general knowledge of sandwich and salad prep. Café Deli Service team members have an in-depth knowledge of our menu offerings and are always available to answer guest questions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of guest service.
  • Working knowledge of POS systems; cash register.
  • Take sandwich orders, presses Panini’s, and ensures guests receive all orders in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an orderly station in which surfaces are continually wiped down and supplies are fully stocked.
  • Arrive on time ready to begin work at the start of the shift; staff apron/chef coat is on.
  • Maintain the highest standards of courteous, professional guest service, follows through on all guest questions and always maintains HL’s Guest Service standards.
