This position would work in the The aMPersand, a vocational training space to offer a space for people with and without disabilities to learn and grow together. The aMPersand is a retail space as well as cafe that serves breakfast, lunch, coffee, tea, and other fun drinks. We are seeking a dependable and motivated Café Coordinator to serve as the on-site lead for The aMPersand overseeing daily operations. This role ensures exceptional customer service, manages inventory and merchandising, and drives sales while fostering a supportive training environment for staff with and without disabilities. This multifaced role also involves training employees, community engagement, customer service, marketing, and implementing effective business management strategies to generate sales revenue and profit. The Café Coordinator is accountable for the success of the café and retail social enterprise, working closely with the Vice President of Advancement to align the operations with the mission and vision of Carey Services.
