About The Position

The Highlands at Harbor Springs is seeking friendly and motivated Café Baristas to join our team. In this role, you will prepare and serve coffee and beverages, assist guests with purchases, and support retail sales. Requirements

• ServSafe (or obtain upon hire)
• Minimum 1 year; prior barista or retail sales experience preferred
• Knowledge of espresso machines and coffee preparation, customer service, attention to detail, and good communication
• Experience with POS systems helpful

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and food items
• Take orders and handle customer payments
• Provide friendly customer service and recommend/upsell products
• Maintain cleanliness and follow health and safety standards
• Assist customers with retail purchases and product questions
• Complete daily tasks like stocking, side work, and cash reconciliation
• Support team members and perform additional duties as needed
