About The Position

Join our Food & Beverage team at Grand Canyon National Park, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional hospitality to our guests. As a Café Attendant, you will serve food on the cafeteria line, bus tables, clean, stock, and assist guests by building, packaging, and delivering orders in a fast-paced environment. This position is full-time and year-round, offering a unique opportunity to work in one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

Requirements

• Previous fast food or food service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to courteously interact with a broad cross-section of guests
• Must be able to pass ServSafe food handler training
• Physical Requirements: Occasionally reach, climb, squat/kneel, lift/carry up to 100lbs; Frequently lift/carry up to 50lbs, push/pull up to 100lbs; Constantly stand, walk, handle, reach, bend, lift/carry up to 20lbs, push/pull up to 40lbs

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests according to company standards
• Be advised of daily specials and menu items to easily describe items to the guests
• Ensure that all items are fully stocked
• Assist with inventory and orders for products needed
• Maintain portion control and use proper rotation and presentation of all items
• Keep area clean and sanitary at all times
• Maintain temperature logs and sanitation logs
• Must be available for evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned
• Adhere to all safety and risk management policies while performing job
• Other duties as assigned
