The CAE Engineer will be responsible for capturing information from a variety of sources inside and outside GM, building and running analytical models, interpreting results for customers, attending development team meetings, and interacting with compartment integration teams. A CAE Analysis Engineer in the Battery - Structures, Thermal, Electrical & High Voltage System team performs battery module and pack system level FEA structural analysis for high voltage battery module, pack and vehicle integration. You will work closely with the vehicle CAE team to consider the integration of the battery into the vehicle structure, provide results and technical consultation to battery and vehicle engineers, and deliver design solutions which are robust and reliable utilizing optimization and statistical methods.
