About The Position

Behavioral Crossroads Recovery is looking for a full-time CADC Counselor to join their team! This position is in-office, and works Monday-Friday. This position reports to the Regional Clinical Director, and is part of the treatment team, providing clinical services to clients. This position maintains accountability for the client as established through the funding source, and according to agency Policy. Salary for the position is $42,000-$47,000 annually, with additional bi-weekly bonuses and $1500 sign on bonus upon completion of 90 days of employment. This position may conduct intakes and will conduct risk/needs assessments and develop service plans for all clients assigned to their caseload, and implement those plans subject to review by the Treatment Team and/or approval of the Regional Clinical Director.

Requirements

CADC, LAC, LSW, LPC, or LCSW
At least 1 year experience
Working with addictive behaviors
A basic understanding of human behavior
Utilizing group dynamics to address special needs populations
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact appropriately with clientele
Skilled in assessment and evaluation
Willingness to work flexible hours
Demonstrated competencies in training, group interaction, and mentoring
Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

NJ SAMS experience
Knowledge of social learning theory, cognitive-behavioral intervention and approaches
