Requirements

• 2+ years of CAD experience, a CAD certificate, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
• High proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Full range of visual depth perception and the ability to distinguish colors.

Responsibilities

• Provide AutoCAD design and drafting support for civil engineering projects.
• Take projects from concept to construction documents, detailing site geometry, utilities, grading, drainage, and erosion and sediment control.
• Analyze surveys and field notes to identify potential constraints on projects.
• Research deeds, ordinances, technical reports, and various codes to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers to keep them updated on progress and address challenges.
• Assist design staff as needed.
