Requirements

• Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or similar degree from an accredited school.
• 2-5 years of experience in Municipal / Transportation engineering or related field is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents.
• Strong understanding of design software packages, specifically Bentley products (Microstation, Open Roads Designer, Geopak).
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• Additional experience with Civil 3D is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise technical drawings for transportation projects.
• Develop roadway, drainage, and related designs under the supervision of a registered engineer.
• Provide work direction to and collaborate with Engineering Technicians, engineers in training, and other professional staff.
• Create plan sheets and plan sets for construction.
• Experience with 3D design preferred.
