About The Position

As a CAD Technician Intern in the Data Centers group, you will work collaboratively with our engineering teams to create design drawings for our clients. As an intern, you will be supported by the group Team Lead, Director and Senior Design Consultant to deliver quality work in a timely manner and within a defined budget. Hourly Rate: $25.00/hour The salary range above is based upon the Denver, Colorado labor market.

Requirements

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• A strong command of the English language
• Possesses effective written and oral communication skills
• Good interpersonal and people skills
• Must be able to lift 25lbs

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D modeling software is a plus
• Knowledge of substation design is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing substation packages including general arrangements, oneline diagrams, elevations, panel elevations, schematics, wiring diagrams, bill of materials, conduit, grounding, lightning protection, and illumination
• Support NEI standard drawing development, as needed
• Study relevant Codes and Standards to understand applicability to physical substation design
• Work effectively as part of a team and independently with oversight
