About The Position

The CAD System Administrator – ORD will manage licensing, support design- build and bid-build projects, and optimize digital delivery workflows. This role requires strong technical expertise , collaboration skills, and the ability to drive efficiency across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

Manage ORD Licensing for Emery Sapp & Sons
Collaborate with CAD Technicians using different programs and tools to find best tools for specific tasks
Coordinate with Design Build Project Teams to identify pain points and prevent repetitive issues typically found with electronic design files
Coordinate within Project-wise for ongoing design build projects with third party design firm partners
Reference live DGNs and create solutions in ORD for design visualization during on-going design build projects and pursuits
Eliminate file conversion requirements and file sharing processes to speed up reviews
Assist with design optimizations and solutioning using CAD tools
Support estimating in all branches by using ORD functionality for takeoffs, file conversions, and data extractions
Create deliverables using ORD (roll plots, sheets, electronic deliverables, CAD conversions, etc.)
Coordinate with CAD managers and design firms on digital delivery and 3D model visualizations
Create BIM ORD solutions for visualizations
Manage many concurrent requests and prioritize effectively
Continue to monitor new ORD Functionality and bring best practices to ESS that benefit various process es
