About The Position

We are seeking a CAD Services Support Technician to join our technology team. In this role, you'll support our civil engineering staff in the effective use of Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads Designer, helping to maintain high-quality project deliverables and efficient workflows. This role is ideal for someone passionate about mentoring others, troubleshooting design issues, and promoting CAD best practices. You will report to the CAD Services Manager and can work in a hybrid schedule to support staff across all regions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of demonstrated competence in the use of Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads for design production and support.
• Familiarity with corridor modeling, alignments, surfaces, and plan production workflows.
• Confidence troubleshooting software and guiding users through solutions step-by-step.
• A passion for teaching, mentoring, and sharing CAD knowledge.
• Understanding of DOT CAD standards (e.g., WSDOT, ODOT, ITD) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for Civil 3D and OpenRoads project teams.
• Help teams resolve issues with surfaces, corridors, design production, and project setup.
• Conduct onboarding and one-on-one training for new team members.
• Document and promote CAD standards and workflows aligned with project and client requirements.
• Assist in maintaining Civil 3D and OpenRoads templates and content libraries.
• Collaborate with IT and project managers on software deployments and configurations.
