About The Position

To create and revise items, bills of material, drawings of fabricated, assembled and or purchased parts, as well as service parts per Product Change Process utilizing the company PLM system. Operate computer-aided design (CAD) system and peripheral equipment to accomplish working task. Drawings will be designed using 3D techniques when applicable.

Requirements

Two-year Associate’s Degree in Engineering Graphics or Technical Certification and 1+ years of experience.
Possess good working knowledge of Windows platform and understands basic windows commands and had a good understanding of windows file system.
Understands and demonstrated company safety policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of data management or PLM (product lifecycle management) preferred.

Responsibilities

Work as a team member within the CAD Department and other departments to create or alter drawings per Product Change Process.
Develop/Understand 3rd party software needed on daily task
Understands policies and procedures within the department for assigning part numbers, redlining bills of material, revising drawings and working Product Change Processes while utilizing the company PLM system.
Work with engineering personnel to ensure correct part numbering assignment and ensure drawings are in accordance with drafting standards.
Use measuring devices to check or create manufactured and/or purchased parts.
Possess good working knowledge of Windows platform and understands basic windows commands and had a good understanding of windows file system.
Understands and demonstrated company safety policies and procedures.
Any other duties assigned to complete daily objectives.
