Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, or a similar field preferred.
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in CAD modeling/drawing using SolidWorks in a manufacturing, furniture, or millwork setting.
Proven ability to interpret and create drawings from 3-D models, blueprints, or templates.
Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, teamwork skills, and reliability.
Standing capability throughout the shift; lifting minimal weight is not required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with custom woodworking/furniture/millwork industries is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Use SolidWorks Professional (2020 or newer) to create and approve shop drawings, ensuring fit, form, and function of all products.
Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications.
Prepare detailed customer approval drawings and fabrication/assembly drawings from models or measured templates.
Convert instructions into accurate CAD drawings and ensure they align with manufacturing requirements.
Collaborate closely with design, production, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality custom solutions.
Maintain high accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced, custom manufacturing environment.
