CAD Manager Provide HHS Program Support Center (PSC) with project management, space assignments, and construction/alterations projects throughout the country in over 5 million rentable square feet of commercial rented administrative space using highly specialized CAD information services. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for CAD Manager : $100k – $120k Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. CAD Manager Responsibilities Include: Ensures CAD/CAFM services are provided to meet daily customer needs. Maintains a current and accurate repository of architectural and CAFM drawings to support rent bill distribution and analysis of space assignments. Attends meetings as required to support space management staff. Assists in the development of space planning documents and exhibits to support the PSC organization. Maintains and procures CAD and CAFM production materials as required to support facilities program team. Maintains an accurate repository of as-built drawing documents of PSC-managed space and as-built /CAFM drawing documents of HHS space within the SW complex and satellite offices. Maintains and manages the compilation and distribution of the PSC Floor Plan Book and manage the compilation and distribution of the HHS SW Complex Floor Plan Book. Conducts site surveys as directed to maintain an accurate CAD and CAFM drawing repository. Manages the repair and servicing of CAD and CAFM production equipment as required. Provides CAD and CAFM support for construction design intent and furniture Installations. Maintains accuracy of CAD and CAFM drawings by conducting site surveys, processing updates from A/E-furniture vendors-HHS PM’s. Provides customer service functions for drawing printouts, email PDF’s, poster board construction, signage, key-control drawings, rent update drawings, floor plan book submittals, event support, safety and environment project support, and special space planning projects. Surveys, calculates, and provides utilization rate (UR) requirement assessment of all new space designs. Assists with CAD upload into Department asset management system, verification of rent calculations, and drawing Support. Maintains updates of software packages, manage and document equipment (plotters-printers-scanners-desktop computers) and network repair requests, process supply purchases for the office. Reports progress and deficiencies to management in a timely manner. Assists with CAD and CAFM user guide preparation. Provides requested team training for CAD and CAFM as needed. Assists project managers with document drawing, printing, and formatting. Provides other CAD and CAFM management, support, and production duties as assigned. Maintains CAFM database. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
