About The Position

To assist in the development, creation and manipulation of Revit models for each campus building, and MEP AutoCAD drawings. This position is within Facilities Information Systems (FIS), which is part of ACC’s Campus Planning, Construction & Sustainability department.

Requirements

• A knowledge of architectural documents
• BIM software's- AutoCAD and Revit
• BIM Modeling principles including creating and editing Revit models with appropriate wall types, geo-location and elevations.
• Maintaining an established work schedule.
• Time Management skills to complete projects.
• Effectively using interpersonal and communications skills including tact and diplomacy.
• Effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Maintaining confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

• Demonstrated proficiency with standard office software.
• Demonstrated proficiency with BIM software.
• Completion of A&E CAD - Architectural Specialization courses DFTG-2431 and DFTG-2428, or one year related experience can count as sufficient education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Digitize MEP drawings into AutoCAD drawings by combining renovations into single drawings for each floor of every building.
• Create Revit models for each campus building.
• Use. dwg’s of floor plans, elevations and site plans and turn them into Revit models.
• Reading of PDF construction documents to create accurate as-built BIM models.
• Assist in campus site plan updates in AutoCAD
• Assist in AutoCAD drawings for FIS team
